Just a concept I've been fooling around with for a while now. I love 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, and have always thought that Captain Nemo, commander of the Nautilus, was one of the best literary creations ever.
In my design, I decided to try and fuse some elements from the differing version of Nemo that have popped up over the years. The look of his costume is heavily influenced by the 1954 Walt Disney film, but with a bit more flair on the sleeves. His facial features, on the other hand, are closer to the Nemo from League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, which is in itself based on the fact that Nemo is from India, as revealed in The Mysterious Island.
I know the proportions are a little whacked - I still need to work on them. Just something I whipped up for fun. Might work on a Nautilus design sometime soon.
Critiques would be much appreciated.
